Alright,

So I’m following through with one of my new year’s resolutions a day early.

I’ve always enjoyed writing, and designing, and taking photos, and listening to music, and trolling the internet for awesome stuff, the stuff that you can’t make yourself, the stuff you didn’t know, and the stuff that’s made by some Italian designer genius that I won’t be able to afford until I’m in my mid 30s. Yes, I’ve always enjoyed all of this creativity and exploration. I recently realized that the peak of happiness for me would be a daily celebration of the creative human spirit, whether it be creating myself, honoring the creations of others, or simply spending my boss’ time exploring the depths of the time abyss that is the internet for things that either inspire or celebrate creativity, or those hidden gems that blow your mind.

Regardless of the approach, I’m starting down the path to that life style. I recently invested in a guitar, turntables, and I am borrowing a late 70s/early 80s era Moog synthesizer from my brother, my career path as a “don’t sleep on this guy”, scrappy, hungry junkyard underdog, graphic designer is finally taking root, I’m listening to more music than ever before, reading some mind bending literature that’s changing/inspiring my outlook on life, and I’m beginning to use my camera a hell of a lot more than I have been.

So this… is my release for all of the things I mentioned above. Please take part, call me out, criticize me for my opinions, join in on a conversation, share an experience, tell me where I can go (to find more on a given subject matter of course), oh… and I forgot, my professional portfolio for my graphic design and photography work is in here. If there’s something I can help you with, and you think I can deliver what you’re looking for, by all means, please use this site to get ahold of me, but let’s not get too corporate.

A new year starts tomorrow, and I just got done telling someone I’m not big on New Year’s resolutions… Well, I guess I fooled myself on that one. I wish everyone and those around them, a safe, happy and fun celebration tonight. To the end of a tough year, ad a fresh beginning for all of us!

CHEERS! (lightly touches glasses with yours)

Consider this post the end of the beginning.
